White cops kill black man, left media declares racism. Standard procedure for an industry saturated by journalists whose desire to pontificate exceeds their intellectual capacity. For the sake of legitimate and objective analysis, consider the cops who killed Tyre Nichols: Black cops. Dubbed racists, but are they, as the left media insists?
No, they are simply idiot bullies. You’ve seen it yourself: Close your eyes, think back… You graduated with a classmate who was intent on becoming a police officer. If so, how would you describe this future cop? Were they valedictorian material? Tee hee, doubtful. Now now, there’s nothing wrong with being unscholarly, but when you add in a dose of bullyism, plus a gun, you have the recipe for disaster.
Can you say that you’ve never met or heard of one single person who intended to pursue a career in law enforcement who was not only below average intelligence, but a bully, too?

Now, take one unsophisticated bully, give him authority, hand him a gun. YOU EXPECT THAT PERSON TO MAKE GOOD DECISIONS IN STRESSFUL SITUATIONS? YOU EXPECT THAT PERSON TO REACT CALMLY WHEN BEING DEFIED?

No, they weren’t racist, they are bullies. And probably not that bright. That’s the narrative here, and in the majority of these situations, I think. Rage flared up in response to individuals who defy them in an way. A primitive desire to impose authority at any costs and by any method.
There’s no good solution. Valedictorians don’t go to police academies. Maybe there’s a reason Bobbies don’t carry lethal weapons. Perhaps, one day, American police officers will carry only pepper spray and Tasers. Until then, the innocent deaths and subsequent riots shall continue.
